1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between you, the traveller, and Crown & Compass (a premium travel agency based in England). By confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in their entirety.

These terms apply to all bespoke domestic and international holiday packages, guided tours, and personalised travel planning services offered by our agency.

2. Booking and Payments

To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirmation. The exact deposit amount varies depending on the itinerary and supplier requirements, and will be clearly communicated to you in your initial travel proposal.

The remaining balance for your holiday must be paid in full no later than 60 days before your scheduled date of departure. If a booking is made within 60 days of departure, the full payment is required immediately. Failure to settle the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your travel arrangements.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email. The following general cancellation charges will apply, unless specific supplier terms dictate otherwise:

  • More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit.
  • 30 to 59 days before departure: 50% of the total holiday cost.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total holiday cost.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation fees to protect your investment.

4. Travel Insurance & Liability

It is a mandatory condition of booking with Crown & Compass that you possess valid and adequate travel insurance. Your policy should cover medical expenses, personal injury, repatriation, and cancellation charges.

While we take every precaution to ensure your itinerary runs smoothly, Crown & Compass acts solely as an agent for third-party transport operators, accommodation providers, and tour guides. We cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by the actions, omissions, or negligence of these independent suppliers, nor for events outside of our reasonable control (Force Majeure).

5. Passports, Visas, and Health Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party are in possession of a valid passport, any necessary visas, and required health certificates prior to travel. Passports must typically be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your intended return to the United Kingdom.
